The Barcelona Supercomputing Center participates in two research and innovation networks promoted by the Government of Catalonia: CLARIAH-CAT, focused on digital humanities, and X4HPC, focused on high-performance computing. Both foster collaboration across institutions to drive interdisciplinary research with economic and social impact, helping teams connect, share knowledge and bring results closer to real use.

X4HPC brings together research institutions and groups that use high performance computing to address complex scientific and technological challenges. The network aims to strengthen the HPC ecosystem in Europe by encouraging collaboration across disciplines, sharing knowledge and infrastructure, and supporting the adoption of advanced computing methods in research. It provides a common space for teams to connect, develop joint activities, and move computational research closer to real scientific and industrial use.
